I've been told that the calcium in Tums helps tomatos grow and that you should dig a few into the soil around the transplants. Would this work with pumpkins? I know it would be a little much to plant them through my 450 sq foot patch, but I was just thinking around the pit where I put the pumpkin seedlings. Any thoughts?
