Re: pumpkins DIGEST V1 #138

Checking in from Danville in Northern California. Good to see the list start up again. Must mean seeds are starting to see dirt. Mine went in yesterday. However my old Troy Bilt Horse died yesterday. Engine shattered internally in a cloud of smoke. Quite flamboyant, but dead none the less. Now looking for either a new tiller or a good Tecumseh engine to replace it with. Shop wants like $800. Anyone know a good source or "where" in general I would look for a used or new engine.

Thanks

Hi Doug,

I don't post cuz I don't have any land. This year I'm going to try to grow a
container garden. I have 12 fifteen gallon nursery pots that trees came in.
Watch me get into trouble with management of the apartment complex!

I am going to let kids plant some small pumpkins. Either a sugar pumpkin or
Jack-Be-Littles. I think they'd enjoy the bigger ones better.

Think we can do it in those pots? I'll bet we can!
