I liked Rick's idea about telling who we are. It is fun to hear about
other people's adventures and thier reasons for growing giant pumpkins.
I just joined this list (amid the computer crisis) and so I don't really
know any of you. I did introduce myself briefly and some of you have
answered my beginners questions.
For those of you who didn't see my introduction, I am Elizabeth Gough,
avid gardener from Washington state. My newly adopted 9 year old
daughter saw a picture of a giant pumkin in one of my 3 million seed
catalogues, so now I embark on a new gardening adventure! I have been
gardening all my life and I try something new every year. I have never
been part of a group like this and I must say it is very informative.
Thank you all for the tips and encouragement.
For those of you who requested the purple potatoes, I will try to mail
them this weekend. If you want any Red LaSoda's I found a whole bag of
them and I have ENOUGH! I need room for that big pumpkin.
Happy gardening!
Elizabeth
