I know some of you have seen it. It is a square root by some power it think...? I
know some of you have it. I guess I will go through some of my pumpkin
books and maybe I find it. Yes I am whining....

Breif bio,

This is the thrid year in growing AGP and the second year on the mailing list.
It nice to see it is finally April and there is alot activity on the mailing
list. I'm one of those Boeing Engineers who supports the Customers in Engine
Maintenance. I have a small growing area (10'x20') which is not engough to
grow a large one. So I am looking and creating ideas to improve my growing
area. As some of you have read, I plan using coragated black PVC pipe to
increase my growing area when it grows out of my main patch. I strongly believe
it will work. I have 15k yard but I have other hobbies versus growing pumpkins.
If you want to see my back yard garden and the list of plants I have(350+), see
http://www.eskimo.com/~mcalpin/mygarden.html I has some nice garden pictures.
Im sorry about the prennial border, but this is what it looks like now with one
exception.....a green house in the corner of the yard..

Due to my other hobbies, I have my own mailing list called "Propagation
Mailing list". It is deditcated to propagation of plants and the tools
required to germinate seeds, root cuttings,....etc.
http://www.eskimo.com/~mcalpin/seed.html

Some of you might of seen a couple of my homepages. Like Dan, I noticed
there wasn't a page out there about AGP. So I started creating one. Before
I had a chance to due a"put" to my server, I did another search on the web
and I found Dan's excellent page of information.

I provided a picture of my pumpkin next to a Boeing 747-400 and the Empire
State building. With the ratios balance correctly, I feel it is the worlds
largest pumpkin. http://www.eskimo.com/~mcalpin/big.htm

Now for my UNCLE BILL.....he does have a funny page. Everytime I read it,
I laugh. This is a ture story on his page.. I could never let him beat me.
I am willing
to buy any pumpkin out their which is larger than his. This way I will win.
Hmm...is this fair....no. I know he will follow my lead, when I tell him
my pumpkin growing great in the PVC pipe. We both have the same size
growing area.....SO watch us on the mailing list as we compete.

This year I hope to beat a 500lbs or what ever my UNCLE grows.
