What Time is it

I know there are people out there who much more about these computers than
me so I need some help.  I never noticed it, but some people pointed out
that the Date / Time on my outgoing messages is wrong- I may anxious for
the October weigh-in but that doesn't mean I can make it November just by
changing the date.  

The problem is---  My computer date and time are correct to the minute, but
where ever it gets the date and time for outgoing messages is wrong.  

Please help
