heating cables...


It is a joyous time her in PA!

The seeds sprouted using the direct start method in a little less than a week.  They are in a 3 foot mound which has a 8-10" crater at the top (I think it looks like a volcano).  On top of the crater is a window to protect from wind and help with heat generation.

My question is how long do you leave the heating cable energized?  Clearly it is to cold right now (days are in the 50-60's F, nights are 30-40's F).  The cable is advertized to maintain a constant 70 F temperature.

Any thoughts?
