Pumpkineers,
Well, The entire off season hopefully will pay off starting today, as I
have put my seeds in jiffy mix, and decided to start em rootin. I know,
being from northern Pennsylvania, I am pushing it a bit, but I am worse
than a lottery winner reading the numbers across the winning ticket this
year. I built my minigreenhouses, or cloches(sp), today, and am
preparing to have my plants outin them before the end of April.
My plan to keep them all warm and cozy is to put blankets over the top
at and around the cloches, as to keep them nice and warm at night.. It
really doesnt get that cold here at night any more, but you never know
with El NIno...
The four seeds I have started are as follows:
1. Anderson 977 - Thanks Chris for this and my second seed, the 2.
Anderson 815
3. Holland 897 - Came with my video, as well as my last seed, 4.
Holland 649
Is anyone else this far north getting so anxious they have started
seeds inside yet? After all, it is the 20th tomorrow, and by the time it
comes to transplant, it will be May 1. Let me know..FOol? Maybe... Love
of this AG stuff, definitely!!!!
