Re: Misters & water temperature

Last year when I misted I used chlorinated City water which was very cold.
I ran the misters for two minutes when temps were above 85F. I allowed the
leaf's to almost completely dry before the misters cycled on again. The
rate at which the leaf's dry will of course be dependent on your humidity
level. The misters shut off as soon as the sun moved off the patch so that
the plants became good and dry before sunset. The cold water seemed to have
no shock effect on the plant.
