I have a choice between 80 and 90 degrees in my seed germinator
"cooler."
I will put them in today around 5:30 and won't see them again until
Monday morning around 9:00 am. because they will be at work where my
patch is and I will be at home where my long suffering wife is. No
pumpkin stuff at home is something of a rule with two small ones to look
after (her rule). What's the temp my friends?

Zoo,
90 degrees is fine as long as you have good temperature control and it
doesn't go any higher. I normally advise 85 because it leaves more room for
error on temp control. 100 and up is where the trouble starts. Once the seed
has sprouted, the extra heat is not needed.
