Flat vines in New Zealand

Hi Flatviner.

I had a flat vine here last season (just gone). It got up to about a
foot wide and produced ovoid pumpkins. My best of 124 Kilo's came off of
it. This was 'Old Yeller' and 'Old Yeller Junior'.

I think it is a bit to do with 'on the edge' genetics as the growing
tips were very rampant and sort of tetraploid in habit. Stick wit it
kiddo, you could be on the verge of a real monster.
