Now that I have sprouted some seeds successfully more questions arise.
When a root turns on the seed and before you know it the round part of
the seed and the tip of the root are pointing in the same direction,
which way do you plant the seed in the soil eventually? I figured root
pointing down no matter what. Correct?
Next question. I was so focused on the sprouting technique with Wiberg I
forgot somethings. OK so I have germinated some seeds and placed them in
their pots last night and have them in a warm, moist enviroment. How
long to wait before they break ground and show leaves? Should I place
them under the lights before they break ground. I have two large banks
of daylight florescents for photography work in my studio. Are these
fine for a short while until I place them in our hot-house here. They
could go directly
to the hot-house after breaking ground if that sounds better.
Last question. What kind of dressing would taste best with the roots I
have accidentally broken off by poking at them?
