Dear Nic Welty and others
These URLs from Univ Calif Davis are quite good and mention colchicine
and cucurbita. No data. More info on origin and botany of veg crops than
I have ever found in one place lots of pages. a college course.
http://veghome.ucdavis.edu/vc221/syllb221.html
syllabus of vegetable corps. origin of most vegetables.
http://veghome.ucdavis.edu/vc221/cucurbits/squash.htm
Cucurbita has mention of colcholcine at 0.6 cursor other pages above
may have colchicine info.
Today I uploaded the first draft of my Alantic Giant page at the URL
below. I would like to hear from anyone who has seen yellow, pale, or
white markings in the leaves of pumpkin as such may be virus symptoms.
