I fertilize 4 times a day, every day, with a very dilute constant feed
solution with a fertilizer injector. I have a very sandy media. The best
thing you can do is keep your soil moisture consistant, without dry and
overly wet times. This is a risky business with the possibility of splits at
any time. Its like drag racing, you don't want to burn out or let off on the
gas for fear of blowing your engine. Put the hammer down almost all the way
and leave it there.....but don't burn out. :)
