Yellow can be a sign of nitrogen deficiency, but that is unlikely in
young plants. Yellow seedling (ys) is a recessive trait see URL below.
If ys then only 1/4 of seeds from a selfed plant are yellow. 
  Most likely suspect is wet soil?? If one dies, carefully spade up
plant and break soil away to look for pests on the root. 
  You did not say how many leaves the plant has. Are other plants
including weeds growing with good green color?
