I have various systems in the greenhouse. The higher the pressure the
better. I have one compressor system that operates at 600 pounds
pressure. The little misters nozzles which have a push in pin were my
favorite but the pins kept blowing at at 40 pound pressure. Now I only
use the anvil time. (A jet of water hits the head of a nail and
generates mist). I just said nail, it is reall a brass anvil shaped
nail-like. You may need a filter, but I don't have a filter and hve
little trouble with stopped up orifice.
I have no outdoor experience. I would set up with a garden hose until
I found the right size mist. Mine are so fine, they would blow away out
doors, but that may be what you want a fine mist evaporates and leaves
plants pretty dry.
I use mist to start microcuttings.
