RE: Germination

Hi Jan,
Well I'm glad you got a laugh out of my joke. I'm not really that
obsessive
compulsive about this. I just noticed all the attention people were paying
to
germination times and thought it was kind of funny. I checked those seeds
when I came home from work and one was a little further up than the other,
hence the fifteen minutes later. The roses got sprayed and fertilized
yesterday.
It was a hard winter for them and we've lost several.
Pumpkins seedlings go into the cloches on Saturday. The patch was tilled
last Saturday and I need to get one more load of poop on it today. I'll be
using
black ground cover fabric in the cloches again to keep weeds from
germinating
and help absorb heat to warm the surrounding soil. It seemed to work out
well
for me last year. Good luck this year. Stay in touch.

PS What are you planting this year? Maybe we can swap pollen.
