WHAT A BLAST........This thing just gets better every year, thanks to
Tim, Dick
Ron, Al, and Fred (the champ) Calia.
As Beth said there were giant pumpkin growers from pretty well all over
the
North America Continent on hand. And I had the pleasure of chauffering
Sherry LaRue for most of the day and Jack for the last leg of the tour.
It was a great time and I am sure everyone enjoyed it immensely.
The show will also be bigger and better next year when Shellie (Tractor
Tilly)
Cramer and Rock (Coor's Light) Rivard are now already planing on
attending
the greatest show on earth (in our eye's anyhow)
I had a great time this year, bartering with Marvin Hicks and talking
with all
our pumpkin growing buddy's.
Can't wait for a repeat performance again next year. This is definetly
the highlight
of the growing season in the middle of the summer. It is a must do for
all growers.
Hugh Wiberg, the head of the GPC is allway in attendance. This was my 4
th year
to attend and am already planning on number 5.
