Atlantic Giant pumpkins take from 100-120 days to mature.Too late for this
year. However, if you want large Halloween carving pumpkins, you may be able
to find a variety that would mature in 80 or 90 days.
The best reference material on growing giant pumpkins would be the two volume
set by Don Langevin, entitled "How to Grow World Class Giant Pumpkins". They
are available online, direct from the publisher at annedawn@aol.com or at
Barnes and Noble online.
