I have 2 pumpkins on my checkon 815 plant. Pumpkin # 1 was polinated on 7/7/00 and reached 51" cir. by 7/27/00 ( OTT 51+41+39) Then it just stopped growing has only grown an inch since. My second pumpkin was polinated on 7/10/00 on 7/21 it was at 29" cir., 7/25 45", 7/31 61"; but now here is the last 4 days..8/1 62", 8/2 62.75", 8/3 62.75" , 8/4 63". ( current OTT is 63+48+46.75 = 157.75" or est. 102.5 lbs.) This Checkon 815 reached 100 lbs in 20 days and then just stoped like the other one on the same plant. The Plant is in great shape..... Cant understand what has happened... very disapointed.....Can any one offer possible expalnation for this.... I have had pumpkins abort before but these were well past that stage.. and I have ecperienced growth slow down but not till much later. Thanks, Brian NJ... Personal best 482lbs at Altoona 1998
