Re: potassium- magic mixture

Gordon-
What was your fertilizer and water schedule before you began using
this slurry? Is this a case of just the plants are finally getting some
much needed K to support massive fruit growth, or is this a more readily
available form? Interesting concoction, I wonder why the old wives tales
suggest milk and not a slurry of rotten veggie scraps. Oh well, my
magic slurry is a mixture of Potassium Nitrate and Monoammonium Phosphate
alternated with Calcium Nitrate. This has higher percentages of K than
your slurry most ceartainly, but is it the better way to go? All questions
here.
