The temperature "in the pumpkin hut" was
100 degrees this afternoon at 3 p.m.
(the hottest part of the day).......this was on
top of the pumpkin "cover sheets".
When the thermometer was placed under the
sheets next to the outer skin, the tepmerature
was only 85 degrees.........I was amazed by the
15 degree drop.........I thought it would be only
about 5 degrees cooler...........I don't know what
it all means but I do that those sheets keep the
pumpkin cool........real kool !!!
Growin' at about 11 lbs per day and wishin'
it was more......
