Rumours and dreams
Am I the only one who heard the rumour about Jay Leno doing something
with the Port Elgin pumpkin festival? I thought I heard a snippet of it
on CBC radio last week but I may have been half asleep coming out of a
pumpkin dream...
Speaking of dreams, here is a really strange one I had the other
night...
I dreamt that I was helping fight a fire at a farm which turned out to
be Wayne Kennedy's patch. I saw that he had many huge orange fruit. He
then, to return the favour of me putting the fire out, decided to come
visit my patch. When he drove up to my place, he drove his pick-up
right over my garden! I had to ask him to move the truck. When he
asked why it was so hard to see my pumpkin patch, I admitted to him that
I had cut off all the leaves with the lawn mower and I then asked if
that had been a mistake. Wayne just shook his head and asked to see the
largest pumpkin I had growing. I showed him a wizen, black fruit the
size of a softball. Wayne then said that I would probably have better
luck next year. Strange pumpkin dream....
