If your pumpkin's circ is 52", then it weighs about 50 lbs. The charts we
regularly use give approx weights starting at 61" circ. It's easy to
interpolate weights for circ measurements not shown on the chart.
If you want to grow AGs for color, then you should try and obtain seeds from
dark orange colored pumpkins with the same color throughout both sides of the
lineage. Many growers out there have consistently dark orange fruit and will
be happy to share their seeds with you. Once you join the PA growers assoc,
you will connect with lots of fine people who have great seeds.
Even as carefully as you select seeds, growing AG is largely by chance;
you'll have to accept whatever color you get: salmon or blush cream colored
fruit with heavy cantelouping is common. Sometimes pumpkins are more cream
colored than blush or orange; sometimes they are green!!! (anarchy!, as you
have squash). This is due to the genetics in breeding large pumpkins, as
squash was used to develop the variety. This is a very deep topic of which
there is lots to learn.
Good luck.
