  Seriously, It might pay to figure out a way to take
internal temps and pressures. The best way to prove or
disprove the theory is by gathering data on test pumpkins.
I've got a pressure gauge around somewhere, but it's
probably not sensitive enough at lower pressures to do any
good. Pressure strong enough to register would probably
just blow it out of the fruit. Maybe someone in the tech
industry may have something to use.
