Re: Spreadsheet helps for weight estimation

Cliff,

I've got an excel spreadsheet that was orignally done
by George Brooks - i just modified it some to give
total estimated weight and eastimated weight gain.
btw: the formula was developed by Bob Marcellus who
did a lot of work to come up with it so he gets all
the credit for coming up with and rightfully so. I
give credit where credit it due.
I'm assuming that you want a copy... so i'll send you
one.
if not let me know.

Cliff,

The weight tables are derived from a formula which you
can use in your spreadsheet. First sum your
measurements in a cell and then use this formula:

=(POWER(OTT,2.76))*0.0000795

where OTT is the location of the cell containing the
sum of your measurements.

Watch out for the Doucet Effect which tends to expand
your numbers somewhat on hot days.
