 That is a hard one! I would hate to loose more tissue than is needed. If
you can pour hydrogen peroxide on it and then treat it with Captan you will
have killed the majority of the bacteria. Then put a small fan on it to keep
it DRY. Build a shield around it to prevent the irrigation and dew from re
wetting the stump but make sure it still allows for air circulation. This
will keep you out of the woods until a more experienced grower can chime in
and help you.. Good luck buddy !!
