If the plant is healthy, I would definitely keep trying to set another
pumpkin.
Here's a link to a pic of my 1997 first year pumpkin which was pollinated
Aug.16
I honestly believe it is possible for you to get a decent pumpkin yet this
year. The only problem may be trying to get successful pollination in the
heat of August.
