Out of water in Southern Oregon
The drought is so bad here I had to quit watering 3 days
ago. I hauled 3 to the local fair to compete with a good
friend (lost by one pound). I left one on the plant, in
case of a miracle rain, but not expecting much. We're
pretty much reduced to "navy" showers, toilet usage, and
dish washing. Our poor well won't allow any more.
At least our livelyhoods aren't tied to irrigating, water
rights are already cut off to 1955 in much of the county.
I'll be glad to see the fall rains!
