I'd also like to point out that the Kournikakis 547 was 82 pounds OVER its estimated weight by OTT, so Kevin's 416 (at the moment) may well turn out to be quite a bit heavier when it comes to weighoff time.

  I wanted to comment on the amendment thing !!! I put so much work in the
patch for the 791 and 986 that I kept working in it every week I put fresh
kelp, compost, commercial manure and ALLOT more!! fine tuned the soil with
granular fertilizers and really gave my patch the best of everything
including aeration pipes deep vine burying and everything this list said
could be done... Now my point is that the 547 Kournikakis is beating the ODDS
BADLY. Planted in a hole in my "lawn?" only watered at the trunk and lightly
fertilized this plant is incredible I just am not sold on the over amended
patch idea any more..
