RE: Getting Started
You came to the right place...just follow this list for a few months. You
will quickly learn that Atlantic Giant Pumpkin seeds (Show King Squash) are
the only game in town if you want the really big ones. You can choose from
a variety of colors, you just have to learn genetics (grin).
As far as when and where to get seeds, again, watch this list. Most of the
growers here give away seeds at the end of the season. The only cost to you
is a 000 bubble pack and postage. (Watch for instructions later in the year
or in the archives.)
Lastly, if you really want a big one, I would try to find someone nearby who
grows them and learn from their mistakes. Don't worry, you will still make
plenty on your own.
