roundup and morning glory

Spray with round-up after you harvest the pumpkins...that should kill the roots for next year. This is only a theory, has anyone tried this?
Actually, no. When sprayed with roundup, believe it or not,
morning glory gets a little yellowish, then recovers, and
keeps on going. When it is tilled under, it comes back twice
as thick. Someone actually told me that they are a "bulb"
plant, and unless you kill the bulb, its going to come back.

I was going to try hitting them with roundup every 3 or 4 days
until I make some progress. I have a whole section of my
garden that is infested with it, and I simply don't plant
anything there, no point in trying.

Regards, Cliff
