RE: Cheered up

Dennis, sorry to hear about the crack, see my reply earlier to Bernie. I understand your frustration about the tape measure, however it could just be USPS. I sent heirloom tomato seeds in a bubblepack First Class from Buffalo to Florida on 4/18 (went to the customer counter, have a receipt) and the customer didn't get them 'til almost a month later! (After numerous e-mails including a scanned pic of the receipt with his zipcode visible, he left ebay feedback on 5/17, "Great communication. Quality product, shipping slow, but probably due to USPS" and I sent out w/in 24hrs of payment.) Even Priority Mail isn't guaranteed, only Express Mail, which costs more than the product being sent. I would think Don sent it First Class, which is even cheaper than Media Mail (only allowed for books & paper matter I think.) Soooo, cheer up--you may get it before you get one 192" circumference! You can always tape together 2 Singer 8ft tailor tapes in the meantime & use the charts for weight info. Sorry again.

List

I must apologize again, I just realized I call you guy insensitive. Pumpkin growers would not be happy to here that a big one went down as my Emmons did at around 360 pounds. I am sorry I would even think this for a second, but I had the worst day yesterday. I chipped a bone in my wrist 2 days before I go on a vacation where the first 3 days were for golfing before I left for Washington. Not now. I come home to find out I did something stupid to the list and got a few very depressing emails and then I went out to find a 1 inch crack in the blossom end for the Emmons that I can see the inside of now. So it just wasn’t my day
