So Cal update

Here is an update on pumpkins in my West Coast patch:
Van 945:  Day 32 at 206 lbs.   good elongated shape with just a touch of yellow in the skin.
Bobier 700+:  Day 32 at 250 lbs.   very high center with light orange color.
Daletas 1230:  Day 23 at circumference of 60".  very elongated shape and no color.  Excellent thick/long stem.
The larger pumpkins have slowed their rate of growth, so I bumped up the foliar and soil feeding and the Bobier responded while the Van just limped along (have to increase the dose for the Van). Temps are ranging for night time low of 60 degrees to day time high of 85-89 degrees.  Since I am very close to the coast I often get fog which holds down the temps.  No mildew and minor white fly as a result of my spraying every seven days.

I am growing the 358 REYNOLDS seed as an extra this year and it has out performed all the rest of my pumpkins in my patch.  If Mr. Reynolds is still around give me a holler thanks Mc!

John, It is also one of my largest with great shape too. It is the 483 Lanterman X 705 Stelts  The 483 was the 801 Stelts X 915 Larue. The 915 Larue is the 567.5 Mombert  X  810 McInnes How big is yours? What you got for shape and color? It was grown on a side vine and I grew it for the seed cross.
