Hi Brian: I am no expert by any means so you may want to wait for
additional posts but it sounds to me like you may be a bit heavy on the
Nitrogen. I would try cutting it out and see if the females will set some
fruit for you. Best of Luck. Ned

Subject: females shrivel and die before ever opening
> Hi Group, I need some advice, I have been growing for a while but last
year and this year I have had a problem, my plants are strong and healthy,
with big green leaves, vines growing a foot or more a day, lots of male
flowers open every day. The problem is the females that appear just shrivel
and die before the flowers ever even open. What could be the possible cause
of this. All responses will be apreciated, Thanks, Brian Freeman Personal
