Howdy!
Hope all your pumpkins are growing well and end up high-high and a nice
red-orange color! I lost my best looking pumpkin this week (1036 Companion), but
that is too be expected when growing AGs. Things are growing slower this year
in SE MN due to a a couple weeks of very cold (almost record) weather (early
and late July)...however, the last 4-5 days have been very good and inbetween
the cold snaps, it was also very good growing.
Ok...I'll stop whining and give the facts and the url for pictures :-)

Here is the weekly update:
#1. 580 Bhaskaran - Day 42 - 291" OTT = 508lbs Up 143lbs for the
week.
#2. 793.5 Bhaskaran - Day 40 - 288" OTT = 493lbs Up 155lbs for the
week.
#3. 808 Beachy - Day 42 - 287" OTT = 488lbs Up 131lbs for
the week.
#4. 300 Patrick - Day 42 - 285" OTT = 478lbs Up 148lbs
for the week.
#5. 501.5 Beachy - Day 38 - 275" OTT = 430lbs Up 130lbs for
the week.
#6. 1036 Companion - Day 40 - BLOSSEM END SPLIT - ~400 lbs.\
#7. 1048 Companion - Day 37 - 262" OTT = 374lbs Up 151lbs for
the week.
#8. 553 Nesbitt - Day 39 - 260" OTT = 365lbs Up 153lbs
for the week.
#9. 1092 Daigle - Day 36 - 255" OTT = 345lbs Up 125lbs
for the week.
#10. 235 Beachy - Day 25 - 186" OTT = 141lbs Up 84lbs
for the week.
Not many days left of "Big" growing for most of my pumpkins(getting too
old)...last year my 2 best at the 40 day mark were 636lbs (later split) and 518 lbs
(793.5 Bhaskaran in the end). So the 793.5 Bhaskaran is also running to that
speed again this year. I have set up this year most of the pumpkins to be
vine and stem "force free" using the "V" method and that seems to be on the
average helping.
