Seems to me I read a thread last year about a long gourd over 9 feet
long. I'll try doing a search.

I'd be interested in knowing what the largest Zucca Melon is. There are
some being grown in the Similkameen Valley in Keremeos, B.C.
I recall seeing a truckload of them in the 1950's stacked like cordwood on
their way to the cannery in New Westminster. They must have been at least
6 feet long and 12-16" in diameter. They were used to make candied fruit
for baking.
