stalled pumpkin

I'm not sure who to ask about this. This is my first year growing giant
pumkins. I've got a pumpkin that has stalled, it was growing at 3-4 inches a
day then it stopped at 70 inches, 5 days ago.  Is that normal? or will it
start growing again? thanks
