Vine Bore
Help! I have what I think to be vine bore, I didn't want to look to see the
actual bug. I walked out to the patch today and saw that my spaghetti
squash plant had been hit by moles and then upon closer inspection saw that
the stems and leafs were mushy and wilting. Then I noticed it was on my
giant. Some of the side vines and leafs on the giant were really bad. I
culled what I could, but started to cry....I'm such a girl and love my
pumpkin so much!! I don't want anything to happen to it. We sprayed sevin.
But we have a lot of damage. The pumpkin is still growing. Did we do the
right thing?
