You don't. If it has the orange gene, it will turn orange just fine in the shade when it matures. It might however stay cream color, it's all in the genes. If you post information of the seed you planted someone on the list will probably be able to know the probable color of the offsprings.
Good luck... if it has to be cream color, at least I hope it reaches the 1500 lbs mark.
