Depends on how big a pumpkin you want to grow. If you've got 15 ft. behind
her I wouldn't be concerned about any after the fruit. I've got about 5'
apst mine d/t that it just started slowing once the fruit picked up. I will
hack off about half of what follows the fruit to promote growth if it starts
slowing down. Notice how big the leaves get where a vine is terminated. Same
with the fruit I would guess. My plans anyway.  Don
