She is growing pretty well, and I am happy to hear it is possible for her to do well.  I figure I have about 3 weeks before the nights get lots cooler here.. so I hope to get a few hundred pounds by then! The kids have yet to name this one...but I am sure that is not far off.

A few years ago, I had a pumpkin on the main that went down about this time 
of year. It was off my 805 seed and the plant was very still very healthy. I 
didn't feel like pulling the plant up just yet and decided to set a fruit 
right at the end of a secondary. It grew quite fast and made it to 655 
pounds by the first part of October and pumpkin picking time. So, I think 
you can still grow a very nice pumpkin with your scenario, best of luck!
