RE: Thanks. We're still kickin'.

Most of my problems in any arena of life can be traced to ME. Great vines
Jim, no matter the result. You will do well.

P.S. We use our worn out tires in Indiana to keep a brush fire hot.

Wow. I'm amazed at the A/G knowledge-base out there.

Thank you all for your help so far. We've cut back on fertilizing and are
watering really heavy again. I think that part of our growth pr0blem is the
dang soaker hose. We use the kind that are made up of recycled tires I
think, and over the season, they have been slowing down and not delivering
as much water as when they were new. My neighbor tells me that he stabs his
with a screwdriver to get them to work better. Mike, if your reading this,
feel free to give mine a stab!

Anyhow, thanks again to all of you that have helped us so far, both on-list
and via private emails. Our one and only fruit is still growing, albeit
slowly. If we can keep everything else healthy, maybe we can get it to get
going again.

Wish us luck, and my condolences to those of you that blew up, died, were
wiped out by storms and whatever else. The biggest threat my pumpkin seems
to have is ME.

JIM
