I would not, the weeping areas can cause problems...sometimes I'll put a coat of Daconil paint over them if they are looking deeper...but generally they dry pretty well...I have my pumpkins in tarp tents to help keep them dry.

What about a small (pencil diameter) weeping hole on the pumpkin? Do I
carve it out and pour daconil in or what is suggested?
