Steve,
I feel your pain. I am afraid I have lost my pumpkin (over 600 lbs and it
was only 30 days old!) also. I believe the rain we had for two days is what
caused the stem to split in two different areas which somewhat blew out the
top. I guess I join the ranks "Next year".
