RE: Thanks , Steve Haberman

Thanks Steve,
I used to use Borax to dry hides before tanning when I had trap lines. I
don't know what made me think of it for stem rot. I have a good 400lb+ fruit
coming off of the stem right now. I have been wanting to Borax it for three
days now but we have had monsoon rains. I'll try again tomorrow. We are
enjoying this time of year before school starts, then field pumpkins, then
combine time.
I would like to get some of my AG's to the finish line as they are my best
yet (this time of year).
As GOD is my witness......I would trade the Broncos going 2-14 for the
season for this AG harvest.
Forgive me Father.
Good luck Friend!

Used Mama Haberman's borax cure on a soft/weeping area on the crown of my
1596x1395 Wallace cross. 3 days later, all seems to be well--no soft or wet
spots, borax is dry as a bone.

I promise to repay you for sharing that tip after the season is over.

Last year the "cure" saved a stem from rotting right off the fruit. I had
nothing to lose, so I salted borax all over the wet parts and saved my baby.

I hope you are doing well, too.
