RE: Borax

Used to trap a 60 set line for fox, beaver, muskrat, and coons. Thanks for
the advise. Actually, that is how I thought to use Borax as I dried flesh
from hides with it before tanning soak. Back full circle to pumpkins.

GroundHogs do not go for bait. You need to put in in there path they use.
They
love tunnels. You can even cover up the trap and just leave an opening.
Don't
bother setting them at night. You will only catch them in the day.

No groundhogs in the live traps today. Why I thought they would go after any
bait" in the trap was stupidity on my behalf. They have a melon buffet!

hen I used Borax last year I was making a paste with some water. It worked.
is year I have been sprinkling it on strait from the box and have had even
tter results. I'll paint my Daconil on the stem and then top it off with
rax. Dry stems here in Indiana.
do have a dang woodchuck eating $120 worth of melons a day. We just got
ck from Ohio and I am going out tonight to sprinkle him with 4 shot from
e 12 gage.
