Squash Leaf Curl Virus or "Curly Top"

After being forced out of the Giant Pumpkin Growing Sport many years ago by
a soil born disease, I believe I have identified the Culprit, Lab tests
next year will tell for sure. I could not figure out why after 3 years
growing Tomatoes the soil still contained a virus. Squash Leaf Curl Virus or
Curly Top, infects Tomatoes, Squash, Beets, Beans and many other crops, that
would explain it. Photos look identical to what I have seen in Squash &
Pumpkins over the years. In the mid 1990's I think it was transmitted by
seeds from the Pacific Northwest to my garden. Articles list it as a problem
in the Western US.
