RE: Phone company is going to dig


If I didn't live here in Australia I would be helping you fight off those
phone company rat bags.
Hit em! and hit em hard!
Didn't you buy those seeds from me........and I'm sure you paid me $30
And who is to say your pumpkins won't win first second and third prize at
the biggest and best weigh-off in your country.
And what about all those seeds you could have had from those big babies!
At least 500 in each pumpkin, they could have been worth $10 to $20 each.
And your labor, all that time you spent working in the garden. How much does
a gardener earn an hour.
What about all that money you spent on fertilizer and other chemicals.
Hit em for the water costs as well.
Make a list of costs as long as you can and maybe you could scare them away.

        Well, we heard today that the phone company is indeed going to dig
up
our
plants.. I don't want them to get away with this with not one ounce of
hardship!  We currently have four giant plants in the area they will be
taking out as well as a few jacks and luminas not so far off.  I am asking
for all your help in formulating a compensation estimate.  These seeds were
given to us so I have no idea what market is for them or what the value of
the plants might be, but I would like to go as high as possible to let US
West (who's pockets we all know are pretty deep) know what they are taking
away from us.
        Will you all help us?  We are thinking of printing out any helpful
messages we get to show to the US West supervisor when he comes back.
