My pumpkin of 10 days growth is now 34 inches around and almost perfect
around . It seems to be growing at least 2 or 3 inches a day. It is yellow as
well. Is this normal? also the stem is rooted right beside the pumpkin and
the stem seems very taunt. is there a way to lossen this? I am afraid it will
rip the stem and roots right out of the ground. Sorry this is my first year.

Yellow is normal, but cut that vine tap root near your pumpkin or it will rip
itself right off the vine.
