Spray with hot pepper spray or trap the varmints. My favorite is to shoot the "*#$@%#" with a .22 rifle.

Any chance you might be able to help me out with a problem...squirrels keep
eating my pumpkins while they are growing on the vine....not just one or
two...they seem to have he need to sink their teet into all of them ....any
suggestions or referals would be greatly appreciated
